Three new TV spots for Nikolaj Arcel's big-screen take on Stephen King's The Dark Tower have been released online, and they provide a striking glimpse into the fantastical world(s) we'll be visiting this August.

Though quite a bit of what we see here was in the first trailer, the "Knight", "Man in Black" and "Earth" promos do contain some new shots here and there - a fun little moment between Idris Elba's Roland and some nurses being the highlight. There's also a bit of new stuff involving Matthew McConaughey's enigmatic villain.

Have a look, and let us know what you think in the usual place.

The last Gunslinger, Roland Deschain, has been locked in an eternal battle with Walter O’Dim, also known as the Man in Black, determined to prevent him from toppling the Dark Tower, which holds the universe together. With the fate of the worlds at stake, good and evil will collide in the ultimate battle as only Roland can defend the Tower from the Man in Black.

The Dark Tower is set to be released in the U.S. on August 4, followed by the UK on August 18.
