EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Seth Rogen Talks Green Hornet

There's no denying that the announcement Seth Rogen would be playing the Green Hornet was met with a lot of skepticism, and in this exclusive interview Rogen himself reflects on that skepticism.

MAJOR let-down seen the theater trailer,
but if your into comic relief it has
plenty. I'll wait for it to hit the 1.99
bid at wal-mart or better yet rent it from
redbox for a buck.

Awesome work ED! I'm a big Seth Rogen fan and can't wait to see him as Green Hornet! Is "Movie Magic" your magazine? Can't say I recall seeing it on sale here in the UK unfortunately. :(

Based on the trailers, it appears he looks and acts the same way as he does in his other films. I don't recall Britt Reid/Green Hornet ever coming across as a goofy dork. This is a rental at best for me.

I think this is going to be one of those surprise movies. Everyone thinks is crap, but then, turns out to be pretty good. I'm looking forward to it.

I either meet them or speak to them on the phone. I speak to actors, but the people I mostly talk to are the writers, producers, directors and behind the scenes personnel.

yeah i'll wait for this on dvd unless someone pays my way to go see it. i was a fan of the series with bruce lee. this movie looks way to much like a comdey flick. i enjoy seth rogen movies but hes definitly not green hornet. and he just lost some weight didnt really get in shape for the role either. the only good thing about this movie and its seriousness is going to be kado.

It's gonna be S#!T!! Another Batman and Robin movie piece of crap. I can't stand Seth Rogan, the worst choice for GRENN HORNET.

There still time. If they edit this into serious, gritty and darker just as it was originally conceived then I will forget the crappy trailer. I don't mind if it is Seth Rogan since the Green Hornet wears a mask and comic book heroes doesn't have to be good looking. This is the Green Hornet his more realistic than most Comic book character. More realistic than Batman or Iron man.

I'm going to be a super hero someday, when I get my powers back. Then, all of you who laughed at me will see. You'll all see. And you who kept me down won't laugh anymore. I gauran[frick]entee that, yo. Ok? Ok?

The Green Hornet is not about a douchebag like Rogen running around like a crime-fighter. The Green Hornet is dark and edgy, there is no room for comedy. Unfortunately, Rogen has taken the Green Hornet as if he were some kind of fruit-fly, a dork like Rogen, which is precisely how he acts in all his movies. This is an insult for the hard-core fans.

I had the opportunity to watch a private screening of this film. It is boring, idiotic and predictable. It is filled w/ slow-motion scenes and explosions just to attrackaudiences but overall, is very stupid.

Why do you guys doubt him so much? The movie's gonna be awesome, you guys just wait.

Hardcore? Since when have the GH fans become so picky?

The character hasn't been portrayed for years...

And SR is appealing to modern audiences mired with different expectation.

Personally, I think The Green Hornet is trying too hard to be "cool", so it probably wont be as good. Kinda cheesy from what I've seen :/
