GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 Concept Art Features An Alternate Design For Michelle Yeoh's Aleta Ogord
Michelle Yeoh only made a brief cameo appearance as Aleta Ogord in James Gunn's GOTG sequel, but here we have some concept art which spotlights an unused design for the character. Take a look...
It's hardly a spoiler at this stage, but if by some miracle you haven't seen Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 yet, don't read any further.
Right before the end of the movie we are introduced to Stakar's old team of Ravagers/original Guardians, and Aleta Ogord (Michelle Yeoh) is among them. Aleta looks very different to her comic book counterpart (who is actually Stakar's adoptive sister/wife/shared consciousness... it's complicated), and now some new concept art presents yet another, more militaristic design for the character.
SPOILERS: Breakdown of all 5 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Post-Credits Scenes
It remains to be seen if Aleta and the others show up in the MCU again, but James Gunn has confirmed that he does have further plans for Starhawk, so it's definitely a possibility.
