Up until today, Marvel Studios had three movies set for release in 2020. While we don't know what those are/were going to be, they were set for release on May 1st, July 31st, and November 6th. Unfortunately, it's now been confirmed that the July 31st movie - which was quite possibly Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 - has been removed from Disney's schedule.
Whether or not this means we're only getting two Marvel Cinematic Universe movies in 2020 is hard to say but this is bound to get fans talking and it could be a sign that with Vol. 3 delayed, the studio simply can't get anything else made in time.
In other release date news, The Jungle Cruise (which stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Emily Blunt) has now been delayed from October 11th, 2019 to July 24th, 2020. That puts it head to head with an Untitled DC Film and Untitled Sony Animation. It remains to be seen whether or not either of them will end up being moved.
As always, release dates are fluid and always subject to change but we'll be sure to keep you updated when we have more to tell you. Will you be able to cope with only two Marvel Studios movies in 2020?
