“Gentlemen, you are being sent in by a HALO jump. Now I realize not all of you have had hands on experience and frankly, none of us have ever faced a situation quite like this before. But I would not be asking any one of you to take this leap…if I did not have complete faith in your ability to succeed…

Your courage will never be more needed than it is today.” - David Strathairn

Legendary Pictures: Godzilla -- An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence. Gareth Edwards directs Godzilla, which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, and Juliette Binoche, with David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. The screenplay is by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont, and Dave Callaham. Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing with Mary Parent and Brian Rogers. Alex Garcia and Patricia Whitcher are the executive producers, alongside Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira. The film is from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures.

GODZILLA will stomp into theaters May 16, 2014.

He held the camera vertically, and wasn't facing the screen straight on....UGH. Amateur hour right there.

Aside from that though? Looking forward to seeing the real thing. Didn't look like there was any new footage of The King. A big thanks to him for showing us.

This doesn't match the description of the Comic-Con footage shown this past summer. I think this is the first trailer that's supposed to be hitting November 3.

One of my friends was at Comic-Con this year and I asked him about this trailer. Aside from the few scenes from the concept trailer, this is pretty much identical to the trailer with actual footage from the film. Some of the scenes still have the green/blue screen in the back and you can obviously see the watermarks.

Actually, scratch that. This trailer isn't structured the same as the SDCC 2013 trailer, but includes a lot of key scenes from it, save the big airport battle.

I really want this film to be successful so we do get a trilogy. A realistic take on King Ghidorah and Destroyah with the tone and scope this film looks to have could be one of the most terrifying things on film.

this is probably the first official trailer for the public.

To each their own, but I was underwhelmed through most of it and poor quality aside I wasn't feeling it.

I've been a longtime reader of this site but never felt compelled to register or anything like that until I saw the 2nd video in this article.....TURN YOUR PHONE HORIZONTAL IDIOT...gah that was so enraging I didn't even care about the content or the trailer at that point the fact that the dude didn't flip his phone sideways just made me lose faith in humanity....

Hopefully this will lead to a new "era" of American-made Godzilla films that actually respect what the classics were all about. I thought the last era (Millenium) was pretty abysmal, so this could make up for it.

Something told me to look at this site right about now...good looking out Nailbiter. When this shit is released in HD it's gonna blow minds.

I loved the tension and intensity a blurry ass trailer delivered.

Wow, I think this movie is gonna be something else.

I loved the first leaked one.
It was so atmospheric and frightening.
Oppenheimer just gave it a huge sense of impending doom.

I guess I'll wait for a clearer version of this one, but I can already tell that I like where they are taking Godzilla.

This film is almost like sci-fi horror.
