It has been reported that Bill Hader was one of the actors considered for a role in Ghostbusters 3 by Sony. Even Dan Aykroyd had confirmed that Hader was one of the actors being considered.
The Playlist recently spoke with Hader and here is what he had to say,
“I heard about it the same way you guys did! I went online and was like, woah! Cool! All my friends were calling, ‘are you gonna be in Ghostbusters 3?’ I obviously am very flattered, but I don’t know anything about it.”
Obviously this doesn't mean Hader and Faris are out of the running but it does discount the rumors that they have already been cast. GHOSTBUSTERS 3 still has obvious "bugs" to work out before its scheduled May 2011 start date. Until then all we can do is wait and wonder, praying things go in the right direction.
