Chloe Moretz to Join Dark Shadows; Plus Latest Casting News

Things are definitely firming up as Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows draws closer to production. Now word has come out that Kick-Ass’ Chloe Moretz is being talked to about the role of Carolyn Stoddard.

The implication is that they’re definitely aiming younger with this particular character. Carolyn, for the uninitiated, is the daughter of Elizabeth Collins-Stoddard, who will be played by Michelle Pfeiffer in the film. The character was played by Nancy Barrett on the original '60s soap opera.

Its not just laziness CaptainProg. Tim Burton is just that type of guy that uses people he likes. Just about everything he's done has had Depp in it and I don't blame him because he's a very versatile actor.

I just don't see it happening. It looks like she will have a busy schedule for the next year or two and there is no plans or talk on even when there gonna start shooting the sequel.

I love Chloe, she is such a talented actress & yes she was the best part of Kick-Ass, my mom hates anything vampire, but she loved "Let Me In" just because of Chloe. I hope she keeps her priorities straight grows up the be a respectable actress in Hollywood for years to comes ala Natalie Portman, and doesn’t end up to be the next Lindsay Lohan.
