Well, Sony, the new Ghostbusters movie has reached a breaking point in hate. The 1st teaser trailer for the 2016 release just broke a record, and it is not a positive one.
The trailer has reached 508, 533 dislikes, while the video has 28.8 million views, and does this prove the movie is a bomb? Well, last year's biggest flop, Fantastic Four, had 8.000 less dislikes. Wow. That's a lot of hate.
This movie has had a lot of hate, ever since it was announced, and while some people have stupid reasons to hate it, because while the cast could have been better, and some good stars (Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wigg) are perfect, some aren't (Mellisa McCarthy, Leslie Jones).

I myself, found the trailer to be horrible, not because of the cast or any stupid reason like that, but because the jokes and references were poor, and nothing in the trailer sparked a Ghostbusters feel in me, and the Ghostbusters franchise should have made a dynamic return to the big screen, but i don't think it's gonna happen with this one.
What are your thoughts?

Really hoping this isn't too terrible because it could very well end up kill the ghostbusters franchise as a whole.

@Porkins - Because the franchise wasn't already "dead" to begin. Geez. Get over it. It's been 30 years!

@Porkins - Hopefully it does kill the franchise. Ghostbusters was never meant to be anyone else but Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Bill Murray. Everyone needs to let Ghostbusters go and appreciate it for what it was -- a brilliant moment in time. These women are all very funny in their own right and should have been given the freedom to make a totally original movie, just like the original Ghostbusters cast were. Bridesmaids wouldn't have been funnier if it was The Hangover IV: Bridesmaids. People see the new Ghostbusters movie as "empowering" to women. Nothing could be further from the truth. The reality is that Hollywood has so little faith in women that they feel the need to latch them on to a proven male franchise in order to succeed.

I hate it because they made it a straight comedy! The original was the perfect balance! But this movie looks like ever character is trying to be zany!

@BlackStar25 - I don't think it will. It's getting a lot of hate and plus, it's a Sony movie.

I'm personally not looking forward to it, but I'm sure it's just one of those rare moments where the internet bans together to show their displeasure. Despite all the commotion the internet has been causing, this reboot will most likely still make money.

People are crazy. I'm going to go see this.

And most likely all the haters will too. Because even if you think this looks dumb, you probably want to watch it to pour on the hate. Kind of like BvS.

@PsychoticSpaceRaccoon - I doubt people will go anyway. I'm predicting this to be one of the biggest flops of the year.

@Ramiel - Lesser of many evils. Trump is a fake and idiot. Clinton a liar and criminal.

Cruz called a basketball hoop a "Basketball ring."
