HALLOWEEN ENDS: Michael Myers And Laurie Strode Face-Off For The Last Time In Intense Final Trailer

Earlier today, Universal Pictures debuted a final trailer for Halloween Ends, and it features plenty of new footage from what's being billed as Michael Myers and Laurie Strode's last battle...

Final girl. Final face-off. Final trailer.

The (supposedly) final chapter in David Gordon Green's trilogy will follow its predecessor's release pattern by opening day-and-day in theaters and on streaming on October 14, and Universal Pictures (via FearHQ) has now debuted one last trailer for Halloween Ends to get horror hounds hyped for the return of Michael Myers.

There's plenty of new footage here, as "The Shape" makes his way back to Haddonfield after spending four years in a sewer (apparently), and begins another murderous rampage. Towards the end of the teaser, we see Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) remove Myers' mask... but is it actually The Boogeyman, or the disturbed teenager named Corey who's been rumored to follow in Michael's footsteps?

If the leaks are accurate - and they are likely to be after everything we've seen so far - this movie might end up being even more divisive than Halloween Kills!

Check out the trailer below along with a new poster.

After 45 years, the most acclaimed, revered horror franchise in film history reaches its epic, terrifying conclusion as Laurie Strode faces off for the last time against the embodiment of evil, Michael Myers, in a final confrontation unlike any captured on-screen before. Only one of them will survive.

Icon Jamie Lee Curtis returns for the last time as Laurie Strode, horror’s first ‘final girl’ and the role that launched Curtis’ career. Curtis has portrayed Laurie for more than four decades now, one of the longest actor-character pairings in cinema history. When the franchise relaunched in 2018, Halloween shattered box office records, becoming the franchise’s highest-grossing chapter and set a new record for the biggest opening weekend for a horror film starring a woman.

“Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.”

To bad horror vs movies didnt take off

Freddy Vs Jason was great (was the first i saw of either franchise)

Alien VS Pedator was average

Could have done Chucky Vs Leprechaun (supposibly they did try Candyman VS Leprechaun but luckily Tony Todd said no)

Jason VS Leatherface

Candyman Vs Pinhead

Supposedly they considered Helloween, a hellraiser/ halloween crossover. Could have worked

Would have been more entertaining to get those than most of the remakes and reboots made after freddy vs jason

First one was good, the last one was garbage. Expectations are pretty low for this one, but I’m still gonna see it

Imagine if it ends with Michael killing Laurie and all the strodes. Then Michael turns into a farmer and stares off into the sun. Smiling for the first time. Credits!

Too many unnecessary callbacks. Laurie wearing the exact same outfit from the 78 movie is just silly.

How many final Halloween movies will there be? This saga has retired more times than Frank Sinatra.

They are humiliating Myers to appease women's groups and Twitter trolls. Their property, their choice. But they can't bring Myers back to form after this. Not after the way he goes out. They are killing off interest in the character and damaging the original because after Halloween Ends, Michael Myers cannot be taken seriously as a threat again.

So the title has a double meaning.

Y'know when Nancy faced-off against Freddy in Nightmare on Elm Street, that was that.
But these guys... geez, get a room.
