The first trailer for the Halloween revival will be with us on Friday, but ahead of that we have 4 official stills featuring Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, and the iconic Shape known as Michael Myers.
The first trailer for Blumhouse's Halloween revival (it's technically not a reboot, bit a direct sequel to John Carpenter's original) is set to scare-up the internet this weekend, but in anticipation, USA Today has debuted the first official stills from the upcoming horror flick.
They give us another look at the returning Michael Myers sporting his "aged-up" mask, as well as Jamie Lee Curtis as the woman who'll be more than ready to stand in the way of her psychotic brother's new reign of terror, Laurie Strode.
Check 'em out below and let us know what you think, and be sure to return for that teaser on Friday.

Jamie Lee Curtis And Director David Gordon Green
We start with a BTS snap of Jamie Lee Curtis and director David Gordon Green conversing on set.
Green was adamant that he needed to essentially dump all of the Halloween sequels in order to put a fresh stamp on the franchise.
"I started finding limitations instead of opportunity, and thinking, ‘If there was a little bit of a clean slate to take it in a direction I selfishly as a huge Halloween fan wanted, where would I go?’ ”
The Shape
Original Michael Myers Nick Castle will once again play the iconic murderer, but this time he'll be sporting a more weather-beaten mask that reflects the character's "authentic evolution" over 4 decades.
“He’s the essence of evil," says Green, keenly aware of what drew fans to the enigmatic villain in the first place. "So we don’t want to get too much into the specifics of what makes him tick. So much of what makes the boogeyman horrifying to me is the mystery and almost cat-like mannerisms and curiosity of this character.”
Laurie Vs. Michael
Laurie Strode will once again find herself being stalked by her deadly sibling, but this time she knows he's coming and is far better prepared than he realises.
“In the first film she was running for her life,” says Curtis. “In this case, she is well-matched, she is prepared, she is focused. She will be the one people are standing behind when that moment comes, because she’s the one ready.”
The Night He Came Home
The report also gives us a much better idea of what to expect from the plot of this new Halloween movie, and reveals how Michael actually makes his escape in the first place.
"A British documentary crew comes to the States to visit Michael in prison for a retrospective of the maniac’s night of terror — but their project becomes way more interesting when Myers escapes custody, retrieves his signature mask and seeks revenge on Laurie, with others naturally being part of his impressive career body count along the way."
