Above is the original logo that was on the first poster for Sam Raimi's
Evil Dead and here is the new one..
Seems like they are going for the simplistic approach. It could well look very different on an actual poster etc but even just like this I actually kinda like it. What do you guys think? Here is that synopsis in case you missed it.
Five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin where they discover a Book Of The Dead and unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
