After Resident Evil: Afterlife grossed nearly 300 million dollars at the box office it was inevitable that we would receive a sequel. On March 3, 2011 it was confirmed that the yet to be titled Resident Evil 5 was going to happen. Milla Jovovich will be returning to the role as Alice.


Hollywood Reporter has announces that shooting will take place in West Toronto at the Cinespace's Kipling studio from mid-October till December 23rd. The film is scheduled to be released on September 14th 2012.

im not really the type to troll on a movie, but this franchise really deserves it. I mean come on,, it isn't resident evil anymore. none of the movies were classified as horror movies, just lame ass action flicks, which is totally not resident evil

I don't mind if some things are altered a little, but for the love of god don't butcher the game's good name... This franchise needs a reboot really badly!
