The first Scream is an iconic landmark. In a time where slashers were becoming less and less popular, Craven breathed new life into the subgenre and with the massive success of the first Scream movie, a sequel was invevitable. So where to take a sequel to Scream? There was only one logical conclusion: a sequel that pokes fun at sequels. Now this may sound like Scream 2 is taking a more comedic route, but not really. It still has the balance of horror and comedy that its predecessor had, except this time it ramps up the thrills just a bit more. It may not be as fresh as the original, but Scream 2 still packs a punch. Full review below:

I'm not a huge Comic Book Geek, but the super hero movie genre has always excited me, and always will. I do not enjoy when people argue over CBMs like they're a religion, but i guess thats how most movie geeks are.
