Stitched To Premiere At San Diego Comic Con; Comic Book To Follow

The supernatural horror war film written and directed by Garth Ennis is set to premier at San Diego Comic Con and is slated to get its own comic book that will his stores in November.

Bleeding Cool has gotten a scoop that Garth Ennis's supernatural horror war film, Stitched, will be making its premiere at San Diego Comic Con on July 21, 2011 at 8:15 P.M. The film stars Tank Jones, Lauren Alonzo, and Kate Kugler and was produced by Brian Pulido, Francisca Pulido, and Ed Polgardy, with Adam Goldfine as Director of Photography and William Christensen, the founder of Avatar Press, serving with Garth Ennis as Executive Producers.

Stitched is a new supernatural horror war film written and directed by Preacher, Crossed and Boys creator Garth Ennis. And it will premiere San Diego Comic Con on Thursday, July 21st at 8:15pm in Room 6DE. Garth Ennis will be there, as well as cast and crew from Avatar Press and Mischief Maker Studios. This is the first time San Diego Comic Con has premiered such a film, on site.


As well as a movie Stitched will also be getting its own comic book to continue the story where that movies leaves off. Ennis will write the book with Mike Wolfer drawing, and will be published by Avatar Press. You can catch the first issue in November to go along with the DVD release of the film.



Here is a brief synopsis of Stitched:

Three little figures stagger across the desolate landscape. Their Blackhawk burning in the rocks and the rest of the crew gone with it, the trio must survive both the terrible conditions and the hostile attentions of the locals. But there are worse foes than Taliban fighters in this ancient land, as an old and terrible force arises to serve a twenty-first century evil.
