With only around two months to go, Universal Pictures is nearly all set to usher in an entirely new age of Gods and Monsters with The Mummy.
Early buzz after the recent trailer release and coming out of CinemaCon has been quite positive and if that buzz translates into a warm critical and fan reception come this June, the film could just turn out to be one of this summer's bigger surprises.
3x Academy Award-nominated global megastar Tom Cruise headlines the monster reboot as Nick Morton, an ex-soldier that finds himself caught deep in The Mummy's web of evil and unfortunately for him, not even death might grant him his freedom. Sofia Boutella stars as the title monster while Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson, Courtney B. Vance, and Russell Crowe make up the supporting cast.
An awesome new poster was released earlier today featuring Cruise standing front-and-center with Boutella's monster closely watching his every move. Check it out below:

Tom Cruise headlines a spectacular, all-new cinematic version of the legend that has fascinated cultures all over the world since the dawn of civilization: The Mummy.

From the sweeping sands of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London, The Mummy brings a surprising intensity and balance of wonder and thrills in an imaginative new take that ushers in a new world of gods and monsters.
