Sera Gamble, writer and produce for the hit CW show, "Supernatural," sat down with the folks at BuddyTV to talk about the past and future of the show she will be taking control of for the next season. Here's what she had to say about the remainder of this season:
"We have an embarrassment of riches. We have so much stuff to get through before the end of the season. I'm working on episode 21 and 22 with Eric [Kripke] right now and we're dividing up spoils between those two episodes and we have a lot to get through. We have the apocalypse to wrap up here."
As far as the upcoming 6th Season, many people have been curious to see where they could possibly go after dealing with the Apocalypse. Gamble gives us a small idea as to which direction they will be going:
"Supernatural, the show, there's a storyline. We're wrapping up the apocalypse storyline at the end of the season. Supernatural has always been a very self-imposed, repeatable franchise and there has always been, I think, a very deep well to jump into the boys' relationship. I don't think we've really exhausted that at all and we have a lot of ideas for where to go after season 5 that we're very excited about."
At the time of the interview, she and Eric Kripke were in the process of working on the 21st and 22nd episodes of the current season, which will be bringing the Apocalypse story to an end.

ecksmanfan: I am actually a convert to this show. I hated it when it first started. My girlfriend convinced me to give it another try and I'm glad I did. I am happy to hear that it seems they will be going back to the simpler stories and back to the basics, as it will more than likely be that last season. As with anything now days, however, time will tell I guess.
