The Incredible Hulk didn't make back its $150 budget and is only considered a mild success. So the fact that Marvel isn't rushing back to the big green monster isn't particularly a surprise.
If the studio wanted to make a follow-up to "The Incredible Hulk," director Louis Leterrier would be more than happy to return.
"Sure, I'd return to it. I have some ideas. So many ideas for so many things," he told Moviehole, adding: "[Edward Norton is] a great actor and a great Hulk."
Last thing we heard about the Hulk was that he was rumored to appear in the Marvel compilation film
The Avengers, opening 2012. It is still unknown whether Bruce Banner [Norton] is to appear or if Hulk is a hero or a villain. If
The Avengers film is successful then maybe Marvel would give Leterier and the big green giant another chance.
EDITORIAL: I personally think that
The Incredible Hulk was a great movie, with wonderful characters, story, and effects. There is no doubt that this movie is better than the suck fest that was
Ang Lee's Hulk. Do you think they should make a
IH2? Should Leterier come back? Will
The Avengers give light to more Marvel and comic book movies? Discuss it all below.
