The Incredible Hulk is arguably the black sheep of the Marvel Studios family as it's rarely referenced and is one of only a handful of movies they've released that isn't "Certified Fresh" on Rotten Tomatoes. It doesn't appear as if we're ever getting a sequel and that means characters like The Abomination and The Leader will remain on the shelf (until
She-Hulk, perhaps?).
Now, thanks to concept artists Aaron Sims and Tim Flattery, we have a gallery of artwork featuring alternate takes on The Hulk, The Abomination, and the vehicles and weaponry in the 2008 film.
It's really interesting to see how The Hulk evolved during his journey to the big screen over a decade ago, while The Abomination could have looked even more monstrous than the version who ended up starring in
The Incredible Hulk. There's also a number of keyframes and a closer look at the weapons which "Thunderbolt" Ross' men used to try to take The Hulk down.

What do you guys think about this concept art for The Incredible Hulk? Do you think any of the alternate designs are better than what ended up on the big screen back in 2008?
