Okay, so while I was on the prowl for some news, I found this out. A guy on twitter named, Nathsies posted this:


@AzraelPC2 Iron Man 2 is on IMAX in the UK.


So you know I had to get some more info, so I asked the guy:

@Nathsies is Iron Man 2 really in IMAX in the UK?


And he instantly replied:

@Marvel_Freshman It was advertised on ITV last night. 'IN CINEMAS MAY, PRE-ORDER YOUR IMAX TICKERS NOW.'


So what do you think? I have never seen anything in IMAX, but I would much prefer it than 3D.

I've seen Kung Fu Panda and Watchmen in IMAX.

I'm not sure there's a big difference to me. It's just... HUGE. I know there's IMAX film that they use to film stuff, but i'm not sure there's a big difference. But it may be like HD to SD. Unless you look at them side by side you may not tell.

All it means is pre-ordering tickes for when it comes out late April/early May. IMAX is getting to be standard for big budget adventures. Some theater just wants their money now, not later

There's a movie theater down the street from me with a special "IMAX" theater. It's kind of a rip off since the screen is the only size of a normal movie theater screen.

I think the real difference is when they use an IMAX camera to shoot the film. I think it made a HUGE difference in the Dark Night. The video quality in that movie was OUTSTANDING and it really helped bring the film to life.

I saw monsters vs aliens 3d in the london imax theater
And im aloud to watch 1 this year too and im gonna say iron man 2!
