Olivia Munn had stated a while back that Jon Favreau had changed her role in the movie. This led to mass speculation about her possibly portraying Wasp or Scarlet Witch. If you are not aware yet what role she plays and want to keep it that way, then don't go any further as this article will contain minor SPOILERS!

Munn plays television reporter Chess Roberts in a fairly small role. Favreau sat down with MTV to talk about her original role and was quick to point out that she was never going to play a superhero.

"She did a very funny comedic take on a girl that [Tony] was with at his birthday party. She pops up again later in his bedroom. But the way the scene went down, that part of the movie didn't want to have comedy because it was starting to get a little bit serious and bump tonally. ... As a scene it was great, but when we put the whole movie together, that's one of the things that happens. It's happened to me many times as an actor, but we called her up and said, 'There's another thing that we're shooting now, we'd love to have you in the film.' "

He never exactly says what her original role was so I guess we will have to wait for DVD extras scene to get clarification.
