Actor Mickey Rourke took the blame for falling off the map more than a decade ago. But he credits his turn as a professional boxer with giving him the determination to continue pursing acting.

Rourke blamed his fall from grace on his own bad behavior and said, "I paid the price for it."

The 57-year-old actor said that it's tough to be an action star at his age. When speaking about The Wrestler, he said:

"I'm not 20 years old any more and when they throw your ass down, something is gonna hurt. My back would go out, my knee would go out. I had three MRIs in the first two months. If they would say they want to make Part 2, I would say, 'No, thank you.'"

When asked about Iron Man 2, Rourke told reporters that it will "be better than Iron Man 1, that I can guarantee you."
