Rourke's Body Takes Beating on Iron Man 2 but Looks BETTER

In this humble reporter's opinion he now looks like an older version of his pre boxing self than the same guy that won the Golden Globe and then split Tony Stark's Formula 1 in half but maybe it's just the makeup.

Mickey Rourke called the 23 pound suit he had to wear as Whiplash in Iron Man 2 "really brutal." He even said it was even worse than being punched and pounded when filming the The Wrestler.

"It was torture to wear," the comeback actor said. "It was sort of a half-suit, with half my skin showing, with lots of Russian tattoos. It was hard to get on, hard to wear and agony to take off."

Rourke seems to be a glutton for punishment (hey, the women seem to like it). He returned to his hotel in NYC yesterday wearing a cast for his recent elbow injury.

Rourke will play the villain in the hotly anticipated flick opposite Robert Downey Jr.
