So, Iron Man 2 must be in its final stages. Maybe this could back up my previous article, where there could be a trailer with Sherlock Holmes.

@ 1chris

the hulk will be in it, it would be a big mistake not to put him in. but you really want to see the leader? maybe in a hulk sequel, but not avengers. probably not even in a hulk sequel. the only reason they showed him in the first hulk movie is because hulk has NO other villains aside from abomination and leader. but the leader is the dumbest character in history.

@CDB: I can see your point about the Leader in the Avengers movie, but he really should be in the next hulk film. They've been fighting for forever. Also, it's the whole "brains v. brawn" thing.

Oh yeah, and Bendis probably eats candy in front of little kids whose moms won't let them have it.

@ reanimator

the avengers and justice league have fought, and justice league one. superman pretty much singlehandedly beat them. he was the last leaguer left, and the avengers were coming down on him...until he picked up cap's shield and thor's hammer and laid waste to everyone

Hawksblueyes - 11/20/2009, 1:12 PM
CDB--- That is not what happened in JLA/AVENGERS. Superman had both Thors hammer and Caps shield because they were given to him to use against a common enemy.

@ hawksblues

oh, was that darkseid? i just remember him using those and kicking ass. not that cap's shield would even help at all, lol.

either way, the JLA would kick the shit out of the avengers if you're going by who's more powerful.

Corndog - Aside from Banner himself and General Ross, the Hulk has plenty of enemies! Here they are in order from most frequent/toughest and most hated:

1.The Leader
2.The Abomination
3.The Rhino
4.The Absorbing Man
5.M.O.D.O.K.
6.Wendigo
7.Zzzax
8.Bi-Beast
9.The Harpy
10.Woodgod
11.The U-Foes
12.Glenn Talbot
13.The Red Hulk
14.Tyrannus(begrudgingly)

I went into this in depth on the last post under the 8/26/09 article "Jon Favreau Worried Avengers Will Bomb", but apparently you didn't get to read it!
JonF
JonF - 11/20/2009, 2:48 PM
Corndog - Okay, okay...It's come to my attention that you are ignorant! That comment about Superman wiping out the Avengers was just asanine! Check your facts, man!

I've got some recommendations for you! In Avengers #285(1987), the team had beaten Zeus down to one knee. ZEUS!!! READ THIS ISSUE! This will give you some idea as to how powerful the Avengers can be when the right combination of them works together!

As for the Leader being lame, not so! Check out Incredible Hulk #280(1982) to see how effective the Leader's mind can be! Accepting that the Hulk can't be beaten by sheer brute force, Sterns figured out the perfect way to stop the Hulk!

As for your views of Superman being unstoppable, check out Marvel Treasury Edition # 28 to see him get trounced by the savage Hulk!! BTW in Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #4(1984)the Hulk held up an entire mountain range that weighed 80 billion tons!!! And he wasn't even angry!!! I seriously doubt that the rampaging green Hulk would ever have trouble taking Superman out! Other versions maybe, but not THAT version!!

Looks like you've got some reading to catch up on!

@ johnf

go [frick] yourself man, no need to be a dick. i was mistaken about the jla/avengers. i remember reading about it in wizard, but, again, either i forgot how they said it ended, or they made it sound like something different. i already said i was mistaken.

and you can say hulk beat superman all you want, but they've fought more than once, and superman has also beaten him. so you're one example doesn't make you any more right than me, considering they've fought more than once, and each has won before. hulk lifting 80 billion tons doesn't mean a whole lot when you're talking about a character that can move entire planets.

and you liking the leader, doesn't make him a cool character. hell, powerful characters don't necessarily make good characters. i know what the leader can do, and you know what, i STILL think he's lame. if you don't like a character, then you just don't like a character, thats that.

i've never claimed to be the all knowing of comics, but i know more than most. i've been reading comics since i could read (i'm now 28). before i could read i was looking through all the pictures at my neighbor's house, i knew most character's names before i could even read. do you think it makes me feel insignificant because i don't know something about a certain series?? uh, that would be no. i'm all for having comics discussions with you man, i even welcome it considering most people on this site talk about the movies more than the books. (rightfully so, its a movie site) but talk down to me again and i'll pay you no attention.

CornDog - don't sweat the pedants man. It's just their way of stifling their inferiority complexes. Hell, I probably know ten percent of what most of you guys know about comics (but I do know a shitload about movies). Still love the genre, the site, and alot of your guys responses.

There are only 5 people in the world with total recall, and even they don't know anymore than ten percent of all the knowledge there is to be known =P

I wonder if Bendis is telling the truth. It couldn't be any further along than Wolverine when it was leaked. What a braggart...

Yeah I think we should get at least a teaser with the Christmas movies. Hell I remember seeing the teaser for TDK two years before it came out.
