I LOVE the way they're beginning to link the films even more with the inclusion of viral marketing and tech that bridges the gaps.

Looks like there will be other sites and videos from Cordco and Fujikawa based on the Stark Expo player.

@joob234

I read the novelization (which makes me even more excited for the movie). I think its something only referenced in the movie and not in the comics. Anyway, you'll find out on May 7th!

@spiderman

I didn't read anything that made me think the chrome/gray accents were anything other than design elements on the suit you saw.

One more interesting note is Cordco and Fujikawa, listed next to AccuTech in the embedded video above. According to Wikipedia, Cordco was bought out by Stark Enterprises to force Dr. Cal Oakley to implant a biochip in Tony Stark's spine after he was shot by Kathy Dare. Known staff members of Cordco include Addison Drexel, Edwin Cord, Dr. Cal Oakley, and Basil Sandhurst.

Fujikawa Industries is a Japanese firm which took over Stark Enterprises following the apparent death of Tony Stark. Known employees include Tso Fwon, Yu Kurin, Tobi Kanigawa, and Wilson Fisk (aka the Kingpin). Stark Enterprises and Fujikawa Industries merged to become Stark-Fujikawa.

AccuTech is also listed on Wikipedia as the producer of a Beta Particle Generator which was sabotaged by the Ghost. Known staff members include Gilbert O'Connor (mentioned above as the former CEO) and Abe Zimmer.

@powerdk
Thats a good line of thought. I think STARKIndustries will take care of that though seeing as how he was already working on Cap's shield in the first one and the fact that Iron man is the only real tech oriented one of the three main (movie being made before avengers) avengers. Something I did notice is after reading the press release from the main page it says they are going to unveil the rest of the suit in May at the Expo....maybe they are a cover company or are somehow related to Hammer Industries and that is the whiplash armor. The only reason why I even thought this is because of those funky looking tubes coming out of the back of the suit and attaching at the arms (similar to whiplash's harness). The lack of tubes running towards the feet could be coincidental...or not...
IronNuts2
IronNuts2 - 4/6/2010, 11:31 PM
or maybe its the equivalent of the Mark 1 but for whiplash or something. I hope this is the case (if that is even his armor at all) because the beer belly is really off putting to me.

Adding to my above post about Cordco and Fujikawa, I found the logos for both of these companies on the Stark Expo 2010 website.
