The Los Angeles Times is reporting that marketing material is being removed from Regal owned franchises over a dispute between Disney wishing to raise its earned revenue of Iron Man 3 up to 65%.

Disney is also additionally looking to increase its earned revenue from its other films as well, currently film studios usually earn 50-55% of box office revenue.

Currently Regal Entertainment, AMC Entertainment, and Cineplex theatres are all choosing not to sell advanced tickets over the dispute with Disney.

Now for many comicbookmovie.com users, the issue of advanced tickets may not be of paramount concern, though an issue may remain on if this would hurt the opinion of Robert Downey Jr on potentially returning to the film franchise if revenue rates are lower than expected.
