With October 4th just around the corner, Warner Bros. has released twenty-nine ultra hi-resolution stills from Todd Phillips' highly-anticipated Joker, featuring intense new shots of 3x Academy Award-nominee Joaquin Phoenix (The Sisters Brothers) as he makes the insane transformation from Arthur Fleck into Gothan's Clown Prince of Crime.

The film, which will unleash the twisted and undeniably disturbing origin story of the Dark Knight's most notorious villian onto the world, has been garnering immense critical acclaim following its Venice premiere and has also been generating quite a bit of serious Oscar buzz for Phoenix.

In addition to Phoenix, the film also stars Robert De Niro (The Irishman), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Frances Conroy (American Horror Story), Brett Cullen (The Dark Knight Rises), Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta) and Marc Maron (GLOW).

Forever alone in a crowd, Arthur Fleck seeks connection. Yet, as he trods the sooted Gotham City streets and rides the graffitied mass transit rails of a hostile town teeming with division and dissatisfaction, Arthur wears two masks. One, he paints on for his day job as a clown. The other he can never remove; it’s the guise he projects in a futile attempt to feel he’s a part of the world around him, and not the misunderstood man whom life is repeatedly beating down. Fatherless, Arthur has a fragile mother, arguably his best friend, who nicknamed him Happy, a moniker that’s fostered in Arthur a smile that hides the heartache beneath. But, when bullied by teens on the streets, taunted by suits on the subway, or simply teased by his fellow clowns at work, this social outlier only becomes even more out of sync with everyone around him.

Even my reservations about their approach to Joker and his "origin story"... won't keep me out of theaters for this one. Looks super interesting... if I'm being honest.

Why do ya'll always have to speculate how a movies gonna do before it even comes out?

Its not every week we have to be screaming from the rooftops that a movie will win an oscar or a razzie...if im interested i tune in, if im not I tune out

At the end of the day how well the movie does won't affect how much I like it anyway, but that's just me
