That Illustrator distress filter works every time. In fact he used the exact same distress filter on every one.

These are great. The type is outstanding, and while some might complain about the repeating texture it also adds a sense of unity to the pieces as a whole.

My only complaint would be about Batman. Even if the arches and points are even it appears at least to me to be off angled right from left. Which would be fine if they really pushed it like flash. If it is suppose to look completely even then my eyes are goofed or something.

I just did a ruler check on my pc screen and it would appear that the Batman one is even and Im crazy.

The images that Froggy Posted leave a lot to be desired.

First the JLA: 5 characters, 3 of which have hair showing and 3 of which were a mask of some sort. Green Lantern is doesn't have hair were Superman and Wonder Woman do. He does have something representing eyes. Batman and Flash who also wear masks lack that.

Avengers: 5 Characters 3 of which show off their weapons of choice and 2 of which are lacking. Also there is a major level of difference in detail amount between the characters.

@RorMachine

"Says the artist.. "

Where did you learn that two periods is proper punctuation?

Come on, you wrote exactly THREE words, and you couldn't proofread to get your punctuation correct?!

Yeesh -- you're better than that, Ror!

Re: the article: Great art, btw. Uncertain if the font on the last word in each is fitting exactly. I'd've gone with something less swirly and more bold -- like an Impact or something similar.

Great effort. Good outcome. I'd like to see logos included (Wonder Woman's could be Captain America or Star Spangled Kid). "Minimalism is any design or style in which the simplest and fewest elements are used to create the maximum effect." I like them but not sure they got the maximum effect.
