While we're waiting on an official announcement from Warner Bros., a new listing on iTunes points to Justice League being available to buy on Digital HD on January 30th. In the past, the DVD and Blu-ray release of DC Comics adaptations tend to come two to four weeks after a digital release, so chances are we'll be able to get our hands on a hard copy by late February to early March which will be good.
The question is, will we get an extended cut of the movie? That still hasn't been revealed but it's looking unlikely as we probably would have heard something concrete by now. Joss Whedon completely changed Justice League via reshoots/the post-production process so it won't be as simple as adding a bunch of Zack Snyder's scenes in there as they're either unfinished or wouldn't make sense.
As a result, an extended cut probably doesn't exist so we'll just have to hope we get plenty of deleted scenes! Warner Bros. probably isn't planning on spending much on the movie's home release either, especially as Justice League looks set to finish its box office run with an underwhelming $675 million, a figure which is only slightly higher than Man of Steel's $668 million. What do you guys think?
