@ossie85 - Snyder deserves it. I don't mean that as a director of course, I mean as a human being.

It's unfortunate and rare to see a director rise up to the strength of the characters he puts on screen.

@PlanetG - putting a Twitter avatar of your own movie is some awesome deed that makes you a great filmmaker?

I feel kinda jealous of DCEU fans, for being able to use this image. It's a perfect representation of their support towards his work in the franchise.

It's sad, of course. It's also for the best that he take a long, long vacation.
Between his wife and himself, they've made more than enough money.
I'm sure the family would love to have him stay home.

If only we didn't need tragedies like this to stand together as fans of the genre...

@GreekCreekGeek - We could stand together as fans by NOT behaving like a bunch of film critics and instead "learn" how to just enjoy films like many of us. Then we wouldn't be engaging in stupid arguments about how Zack "ruined" the DCUE and how this film "sucks" and that one is "a big pile of shit". Over half of the comments I have read here regarding super hero films are negative. This won't change because nobody here who has a horrible attitude about enjoying films is going to admit it and quit complaining about them. Give this a few days or weeks, and Zack will be hated again.

Even though I really enjoyed the first 300 and absolutely loved Watchmen, I do not intend to pretend that Man of Steel is anything more than mediocre, or that Dawn of Justice was any less of a disappointment. You don't have to be a film critic in order to be able to form your own point of view on a film. I do believe, however, that anyone who tries to pass this man's grief as "completely unrelated to what they have to say about his shitty films" should at the very least be threatened with castration.

@SHFL - You said it perfectly, I wish we could just be fans and not look like soldiers from cinematographic companies or studios or publishers. I am a fan of DC content, I love DCEU movies and I love Zack Snyder's work, but I enjoy watching other companies make great efforts to please their audience, even if I do not like their style (disney-marvel, fox ... ) Are still important to your audience and that kind of thing should be respected, because this site became a battlefield that only serves to destroy anything in the DCEU, many people only live to see and destroy their movies, even before Its premiere, only to feel superior with its cinematographic univers, thus things are not done, but we hope the people manage to mature in this place.

LOL! Thanks for the response and I enjoy your sense of humor. You're one of the few who keep making me laugh.

I wasn't disappointed in Mos or DoJ because I had no expectations, so there was nothing that let me down.

I hope you enjoy Wonder Woman. I'm going this Thursday night.

@GilGalad - It's learned behavior (criticizing art/films/shows/comics/plays/etc.), so it is something people do without much analytical thought. They analyze the F out of these forms of art, but not their own behavior and how it affects their attitude and enjoyment of these arts.

Fortunately, many people learn when they get much older to quit taking shit too seriously and they can enjoy art more. I just wish it would happen to these guys sooner. They are great guys, with excellent sense of humor, but it kind of hurts seeing them nitpick films they have been wanting to see for many years (in my case, decades).

Are any of you guys aware of the 'Hack Snyder' FB page shutting down? As badly as I feel and as sorry as I am for Zack Snyder and his family, I think it was wrong to shut that page down. People should be allowed to express themselves freely. Being offensive, disgusting or outrageous is not a justification for silencing opinons

@SanDevil -

There are only very few tragedies in life that can completely excuse or justify any and all past mistakes. Losing one's own child is one of them.
