There are a lot of reasons to be excited for Zack Snyder's Justice League, but a live-action version of Darkseid has to be somewhere at the top of that list.
While we know we'll get to see him arrive on Earth as Uxas thousands of years before the superhero team assembles in the present day, there's been speculation for a while now that we'll also spend time with him as Darkseid. Well, that's now been made official thanks to some new t-shirts from DC.
As you can see, the villain looks undeniably formidable in his armour, which pays homage to the comic books while also fitting perfectly into the aesthetic Snyder has created for his DCEU.
There's no real word on what we can expect from Darkseid in this cut of Justice League, though it has previously been revealed that the team will come face to face with him via a Boom Tube. Whether there will be any physicality is hard to say, but we wouldn't be surprised to see the villain in those Knightmare flashforwards featuring Batman and Jared Leto's Joker.
It's surprising that our first look at Darkseid has come our way before a new trailer or poster, but these are currently being sold on the new DC Shop, and are bound to be popular among fans.
