JUSTICE LEAGUE Star Jesse Eisenberg Explains Why He's Not Part Of The Snyder Cut "Movement"

We've seen a lot of actors share their support for the Snyder Cut of Justice League (including Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot), while some of them (Jason Momoa) have even watched it! However, it doesn't sound like Jesse Eisenberg will be joining the very vocal outcry for Zack Snyder's original version of the DC Comics adaptation to see the light of day!

During a recent interview with Toronto Sun, he was asked for his thoughts on the Snyder Cut, and admitted that he hasn't actually sat down to watch any version of the superhero ensemble.

"I’m not sure because I don’t watch anything I’ve been in, and I haven’t seen either Batman v Superman or Justice League," Eisenberg explained. "I know that I had a smaller part in one of them but I get pretty uncomfortable watching myself. So I’m not aware of a Snyder Cut."

"I’m not part of — I don’t even know what to call it — the movement," he continued. "I like Zack Snyder and I worked with him for a while just by virtue of these movies taking so long to film. I love his style and aesthetic and if there’s a movie he wanted to see released, I’m sure it would be great."

It's great to hear that positivity from Eisenberg even if he understandably isn't overly invested in the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement. Right now, there still haven't been any updates about Snyder's Justice League hitting the big, or small, screen, but there's still very much a demand for it.

As always, we'll just have to wait and see!

I hope to see Snyder's cut finished someday.

Why not?

It could be sold on PPV channels and blu-ray (or even on theatres) and WB earn more money for the movie and finally people decide if this version is as good as they claim or not.

At the end everything is a matter of money.
Everybody wins!

Eisenberg's a great actor. Given better material I'm sure he would've made a good Luthor.

I watched Snyders commentary I must admit he’s a very smart bloke and he just gets what he’s trying to do! The way he frames shots and links things together! It gave me a different admiration for him I didn’t have before as a filmmaker.

But! Lol but, but , but

Justice league... is not a good film ! And I don’t think any recut would make it any better of a film! I think he’s getting abit ahead of himself

How do you not watch anything you’re in at all? Like I get being uncomfortable watching yourself, but by the nature of your profession.... you have to have seen some of your movies.

He was probably the worst part of any of the DC movies. Lex Luthor was a calm, maniacal-type. Not the ADHD version Jesse Eisenberg portrayed. Don't get me wrong. He is excellent in ZombieLand. Just not as Lex Luthor. He probably would have made a better Joker than Lex.
