We've seen a lot of actors share their support for the Snyder Cut of Justice League (including Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot), while some of them (Jason Momoa) have even watched it! However, it doesn't sound like Jesse Eisenberg will be joining the very vocal outcry for Zack Snyder's original version of the DC Comics adaptation to see the light of day!
During a recent interview with Toronto Sun, he was asked for his thoughts on the Snyder Cut, and admitted that he hasn't actually sat down to watch any version of the superhero ensemble.
"I’m not sure because I don’t watch anything I’ve been in, and I haven’t seen either Batman v Superman or Justice League," Eisenberg explained. "I know that I had a smaller part in one of them but I get pretty uncomfortable watching myself. So I’m not aware of a Snyder Cut."
"I’m not part of — I don’t even know what to call it — the movement," he continued. "I like Zack Snyder and I worked with him for a while just by virtue of these movies taking so long to film. I love his style and aesthetic and if there’s a movie he wanted to see released, I’m sure it would be great."
It's great to hear that positivity from Eisenberg even if he understandably isn't overly invested in the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement. Right now, there still haven't been any updates about Snyder's Justice League hitting the big, or small, screen, but there's still very much a demand for it.
As always, we'll just have to wait and see!
