WONDER WOMAN 1984 Star Gal Gadot Remains Hopeful That We'll See The "Snyder Cut" Of JUSTICE LEAGUE

During an interview at CCXP to promote Wonder Woman 1984, Gal Gadot addressed the possibility of the "Snyder Cut" of Justice League being released and says it suffered "unfortunate and sad" circumstances.

Gal Gadot was in Brazil this weekend to promote Wonder Woman 1984, and, as you might expect, the actress was asked about the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement (for those of you who haven't been keeping track, its supporters want to see the original version of Zack Snyder's Justice League).

While the actress chose her words carefully, Gabot expressed her desire to see it in theaters or an online streaming service somewhere down the line when asked if she thinks something like that would be possible.

"I don't know," she admitted. "I think that the movie suffered from very, you know very unfortunate and sad, you know circumstances. I would have loved to see the finished cut of Zack, and I hope that one day we'll get to see it, but I don't know." While Gadot was among those who shared the hashtag last month, she clearly doesn't know any more than the rest of us right now.

Warner Bros. brass must be aware of how much fans want to see the "Snyder Cut" of Justice League, but whether they care is another matter. However, releasing it would put an end for this constant demand for that version of the DC Comics adaptation and allow them to move on to a different era.

They appear to be working towards a more Marvel Studios-inspired tone if the Wonder Woman 1984 trailer was any indicaction, but the likes of Joker and Birds of Prey will no doubt keep fans of the darker DCEU happy.

Gal's the only one in Zack's camp that I don't get a headache from when talking about/praising him.

Jason and Ray are cocky and cringy. And everyone on Zack's production team sound as childish as his fanbase.

So basically, after this synder cut horseshit reached a peak and went absolutely nowhere, sad DCEU fans who refuse to accept reality are right back to it eh. Spurned on by WB marketing to ensure they never learn and move on with their lives.

Regardless, Im sure WW1984 will be fine just like the first. Mundane and forgettable but not so egregious people will have legitimate cause to hate it so once again any decenting voices can be attributed to toxic men. Just not the men who made up the majority of that brazilian audience who went off their tits over the trailer.

At least Gadot is a likeable person who seems like she just wants to get a good message out. Hopefully she succeeds.

Like I keep saying I have a love/hate relationship with Synder's DC run. I would still like to see it one day. The real hero is Henry Cavil because he actually understand why mads was mixed about Mos and BvS. The others like Jason,Gal,Ben and the rest just doesn't get it. I get it Zack cast them and he also cast Henry. If Henry can move on and worry about the future everyone should too.

Yea, I'm waiting for one of these actors to say "Yea, I couldn't pass up the role but about halfway through I got a bad feeling about it and when we saw the rough cut I got sick to my stomach. Poor Ben! He is such a good guy and got roped into that Daredevil terd and now this.

There is no finished cut, completing it would cost millions, and releasing anything at all would cost money. Justice League is one of the five most expensive movies ever made, and it bombed at the box office. The studio lost over $60 million making it.

This is why a Snyder Cut isn't in the realm of possibility.

@Darkknight2149 - It's also rated as the most expensive flop in movie history. Like you said, why the hell would WB want to invest more time and money into it???

If there honestly is a massive demand for it to be released (which I don't think there is) if I was the decision maker at WB I'd say to Zack "if you really want to do this then you fund it yourself. We'll give you the content you shot but you spend your own time and resources finishing it".

I bet that would Zack think twice.

As with any online fan movements, it's usually the minority that make enough noise to make it sound like they are the majority. I'd say there would be more people that couldn't give a damn about seeing a Snyder cut and would like the world to move on and eventually make a better JL movie down the line.

I honestly wonder how many years Zack will drag this out for? It's actually really sad.
