JUSTICE LEAGUE Star Henry Cavill Reveals That He Is Under Contract To Play Superman One More Time
Henry Cavill has now revealed that he's still under contract to play The Man of Steel one more time. Whether that'll be in another Superman solo movie or a sequel to Justice League remains to be seen...
Justice League resurrected The Man of Steel and gave many fans the more positive, hopeful interpretation of Superman they've been waiting for - but will we get to see this new version of the character fully explored in the future?
With Zack Snyder's divisive team-up flick underperforming many feel the future of the entire DCEU is in jeopardy (we doubt that, but you never know), but if Warner Bros. does forge on with the franchise, Henry Cavill will reprise the role of Clark Kent/Superman... once more, at the very least.
During a new interview with The LA Times, the British actor confirmed that he is indeed under contract to return, and says he's looking forward to getting the chance to "show Superman in his full colors."
"There’s a wonderful opportunity to tell the Superman story. Now there is a fantastic chance to show Superman in his full colors and tell a very complex, character-driven movie that is based on story and have that wonderful sensation of hope and happiness. A feel-good movie with lessons laced in there as well.”
Tell us, would you like to see Cavill return for Man of Steel 2, or in a Justice League sequel? Perhaps to think it's time for another actor to take over as Supes in a rebooted DC Cinematic Universe? Sound off below.
