New Listing Seemingly Reveals When JUSTICE LEAGUE Will Be Released On DVD And Blu-ray

We brought you news on the planned Digital HD release of Justice League and it now appears as if we know when the DC Comics adaptation will reach stores on DVD and Blu-ray. Hit the jump for details...

Due to how much it cost to produce, Justice League was a flop at the box office so Warner Bros. will now have to hope they can recoup those losses with its home video release. While the studio still hasn't released any official information about that, a listing on Best Buy's website points to the DC Comics adaptation will reach stores on DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, March 13th. So, not long to go!

Once again, we have no idea whether or not an extended cut will be included but it's looking increasingly unlikely. As a result, you have to hope that there will be plenty of deleted scenes so we get at least a small taste of what could have been had Zack Snyder never been forced to hand over the reigns to Joss Whedon. This listing also confirms that the
steelbook will feature artwork by Jim Lee.

Did you skip Justice League in
theaters? Will you be checking the movie out on DVD and Blu-ray? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on that and this release date in the comments section.

Not interested, even all of the special features will be butchered by WB, most of the interviews and stuff are probably done before Whedon took over, when it was a completely different film

I'm convinced DCEU really stands for DC Elseworld Universe. I can't accept this is meant to be the prime DC cinematic universe.

Even with its obvious flaws, Justice League had plenty to enjoy. Which is why for those that went to the theater, the average movie-goer gave it decent scores. But that doesn't make up for the studio tampering leading to unfinished CGI work and a lack of new characters buildup. Including Steppenwolf, who if handled right could have had a strong backstory reflecting on what he desires (overthrowing his nephew, who murdered his mother).

Even without an extended cut, I'll pick this up. But it sure won't be as a pre-order or early purchase at a higher price. I'll wait for some crazy sale discount.

@KillerCroc357 - It "does" have many great and good scenes in it.

To me, it's like album (before buying individual songs was an option). While I may not like "every" song on an album, I if I liked enough songs, I will buy the album for those songs I "do" like.

Many of the DVD's/Blu-rays I have purchased are for the same reason. I don't watch the entire films, but I liked enough of the scenes to make the purchase worth it.

And "Justice League" has many scenes I liked. I don't even have to think about if I like the film or not. I just need to like enough scenes in it. It helps make film watching even more enjoyable.

@LSHF - There are definitely quite a few scenes that I liked.

When I purchase a movie via Digital or Blu-Ray the week of release, I need to truly enjoy a large portion of the movie. And I did enjoy quite a bit of Justice League. It's the unfinished CGI and lost opportunities to insert intro scenes for Cyborg, Flash, Aquaman and Steppenwolf that detracts from what should have been a massive win.

I will definitely purchase this one.

@KillerCroc357 - Yes, I don't understand the cutting of the scenes. I guess the studio is assuming that more and more people are having ADD issues? I thought the average audience could handle a 2.5 hour film at this point.

And, speaking of the CGI, I wish they would "fix" the CGI before the home media is released. I don't need the pure "theatrical" version. I don't mind waiting for them to fix the actual known issues. I've waiting years for this film, I can wait longer for Blu-ray. But, yes, PLEASE fix Steppenwolf! If not, I will skip through these scenes (except the chase scene with the Amazonians and their Mother Box; that was AWESEOME!).

@LSHF - Really agree with your thought process.

Don't give us the unfinished Theatrical Cut which led to such negative feedback. At least polish it up, and then cut it loose.

I really liked the Amazon scene. Those two beefy Amazons that hold up the door so Hippolyta could escape with the Mother Box were massive. But then the door comes down on them.

Hope they've been spending their time fixing Superman's face -_-

There's gunna a whole movies worth of deleted scenes, so 2 movies for the price of one, right?

@obarium - Nope, in fact it looks worse. I already bittorrented the Korean digital release, which is exactly what's being stamped on blu-ray. All the CGI is so much worse in HD on a home screen.
