New Restricted Kick-Ass Clip Featuring Big Daddy

Big Daddy kicks some ass...restricted style!

Here's a clip of Big Daddy, played by Nic Cage, from the up-coming film "Kick Ass." It's a restriced clip, so those who are under 18 may have to get a parent's permission...or just lie (which I, in no way, condone at all).

"Kick Ass" stars Aaron Johnson, Nicolas Cage, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chloe Moretz and Mark Strong and is directed by Matthew Vaughn.

Compared to many people on CBM, I'm a relative newbie to the comic book world. I've just recently (within the last 10 years or so) started reading comics. However, I've been a fan of comic book characters nearly all my life, thanks to cartoons like the X-Men Series and Batman. Been downhill ever since.

I am an avid movie watcher and run my own movie website,(GeekBoyMovieNews) which covers a wide variety of movies, books and television news. There is nothing better to me than to sit back and a enjoy a good movie, or a crappy one for a good laugh.

While you may not see a lot of articles submitted by me, I've been an active user for close to three years here on CBM and I enjoy every minute on here. We have the best online community on the net her at CBM.com.

I've been lucky enough to climb the ranks here at CBM and the almighty Galactus has chosen me to act as one of his Heralds (Jr. Editor). So if you ever need suggestions or help on articles, I am more than happy to help out; you can find me in the CBM chat quite often. I also assist Big G in his "Beat Galactus Quizzes," so if you feel like you have a good question for the next quiz or suggestions on making them work better and more smoothly, feel free to drop me a line.

I look forward to talking and discussing comic books and their movies with all of you on the site!

Sorry, I couldn't figure out a way to embed the video. I'm a little slow in the tech department. Cool clip none-the-less.

For anyone who hasn't already read the comic, which is most of the world, that clip kinda has a big spoiler in it.

@kenny- I haven't read it yet (I know. I'm going to get it tonight), but I assume it has to do with Red Mist?

I feel like they didn't cover Red Mist's face well enough. If they make him appear before revealing his identity, then it'd be pretty obvious right off the bat.

Just seen it over here in the UK. Great film, must see. My one slight caveat is that if you've seen all the clips and the redline stuff so far, you've pretty much seen the highlights (except there are a few more fight scenes and they're satisfyingly long) - most especially, there's not much more of Hit Girl swearing than you've already seen, which is a bit disappointing. However, barring that, the film is outrageously ultra-violent, has some great wisecracks and a few pauses for thought, and is all-round great entertainment, well acted, nicely filmed and put together. Hit Girl steals the show of course, but Nicholas Cage puts in a great performance as Big Daddy (who has one absolutely superb fight scene all to himself), and Kick-Ass gives us just the right mix of pathos, goofiness and heroic believability.
