Marvel's Kevin Feige On The Possibility Of Other Netflix Stars Joining Charlie Cox's DAREDEVIL In The MCU

Kevin Feige (all-but) confirmed that Charlie Cox will reprise the role of Matt Murdock/Daredevil in The MCU, but what about his fellow heroes from the now cancelled Netflix Marvel shows?

Though he stopped just short of making it official, Kevin Feige did pretty much confirm that Charlie Cox will reprise the role of Matt Murdock/Daredevil at some point in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Where and when we'll see him is still up in the air (Spider-Man: No Way Home is a decent bet), but if Cox is returning, can we expect to see his fellow Netflix stars to join him at some point?

Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle) and Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) have both been rumored for upcoming projects, and although we haven't heard anything about Mike Colter (Luke Cage) or Finn Jones (Danny Rand), it does seem likely that Marvel Studios would have reached out to at least some of the other actors from the now defunct Netflix shows.

Feige was asked about the possibility during an interview with Screen Rant, and while he wasn't quite as forthcoming as he was about Cox's return, he did give a fairly positive "wait and see" response.

"I always say that whenever a character comes back into the Marvel sandbox, it becomes another tool in the storytelling ability of the MCU. As I said before, the good news is, all will be revealed when people actually finally watch."

It looks like Vincent D'Onofrio is going to appear as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in an upcoming episode of Hawkeye, and if Cox does show up in No Way Home, we're betting they won't be the last!

Which other actors from the Marvel Netflix shows would you like to see play the same roles in the MCU? Drop us a comment down below.

Personally I'd keep everyone as exactly the same characters as to who they portrayed in the Netflix shows.

Only thing I request is give Finn a LOT of time to study & learn martial arts properly this time.

@TMW1987ProudProWrestlingFan - Or spoof it, use accomplished martial artists for stunt doubles, so obvious that you can tell it’s a short Asian dude with a blonde wig.

@TMW1987ProudProWrestlingFan - The different NF series were always very hit or miss for me. DD/Cox and Kingpin were some of the few high marks. JJ and Iron Fist completely missed the target for me. They made Danny weak and basically bit$hing all the time. JJ was tedious. Cage had some good points but some of the casting didn’t click. One thing all of the series had was an issue with pacing the story with the number of episodes.

@lawndart - I liked the majority of the cast over all the shows, but I feel any that you find weak or missed the target for you may improve / excel in a second chance with new people at the helm, new material & Feige steering the ship.

@BlackBeltJones - She was amazing as JJ, would love to see her powers/fighting less grounded though. My only gripe, feel like they weren't fleshed out enough and were a bit clunky.

Whatever.

@Doomsday8888 - What if Daredevil is only part of the Alternate universe, and it basically confirms the Defenders never happened in our timeline?

That would be one reason to be coy about it.

I think adding the edit option ripped a cloud portal into the side of CBM’s hillside, and there’s this huge black owl faced Griffin peering out of the swirling bunker shaped vortex, devouring all out comments and haphazardly spitting them back out like decaying Kobolds (I guess beggars can be choosers, look if there’s no dwarves or paladins then just eat what ya got but nooo)

Jessica Jones will be back, not sure about Colter and definitely not Finn Jones.

Iron Fist is legitimately one of the worst shows I've ever seen.

@regularmovieguy - it’s amazing how they could have slapped a mask on him and at least have better fight scenes using a stunt double. But no cheap Scott Buck even cut corners there.

The show was a wash. Didn’t have the same dedicated creatives that Daredevil, JJ, and to a lesser extent Luke Cage had with Drew Goddard, Melissa Rosenberg, and cheo hadari Coker. Goddard made DD god tier with his insistence for superb fight sequences

Still sticking to my theory that Wilson Bethel's Bullseye is back and will be in Hawkeye, then be the Hawkeye substitute in the T-bolts.

The Netflix shows should've been confirmed as MCU canon, a long time ago.
