Brief Synopsis
Meet Marvel’s newest star! Spinning out of IRON MAN 2.0 and FEAR ITSELF! Discover the history of Sun Wukong – Thief! Trickster! Hero! Great Sage, Equal of Heaven! – and witness as he takes his place at the forefront of Marvel’s ranks, the legendary Handsome Monkey King.



SageMode: For those who don't know, Sun Wukong, aka the Monkey King, is the legendary Chinese folklore character who was the main protagonist of the epic novel Journey to the West. I am really interested in seeing Marvel's take on the character, and from what was shown in his first appearance in Iron Man 2.0 #5, I'm psyched to see his potential in the future, especially with other martial arts-based characters.

@marvel72: Yeah, I was kinda skeptical at first, but Im interested in seeing what road Marvel is gonna take with the Monkey King. Dude was INSANELY powerful in Journey to the West, but theyre probably gonna tone him down some.
