“The Hobbit: There and Back Again” is the epic conclusion to Peter Jackson’s trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien. The film concludes the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins, who joins the Wizard Gandalf and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield, on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.

@Beto Thoin does something heroic? Bilbo's act to save him was more heroic. Given that Bilbo is just a regular Hobbit, & not a warrior.

Can't wait. I loved LoTR. I love these!!! Now bring me an animated Silmarillion with the voice cast!!

Animated Silmarillion?! LOL it'd be much better if they make actual films out of that book as well. It's a great book so far, I'm halfway thru. Would love for WB to get the rights to it and to see it brought to life in another ten years or something :P But then I hope they flesh out the story well from the start and don't make changes to late.

I saw it today, definitely the best movie I saw this year! (I haven't seen Man of Steel yet though).

Watched the movie last night, Peter Jackson has lost his touch...

Like my friend said: "If the LotR-trilogy didn't exist, I'd rate this movie 4 out of 10."

Peter Jackson is doing a George Lucas, starts out with an epic trilogy to end up with a trash trilogy. There is so much wrong with his movie...

I've read and re-read the books over the years and can't find the sense in making "The Hobit" a 3-part movie. Money must be good.
