1. CLOAK AND DAGGER.
After two runaways cross paths they become best friends, only to be kidnapped and used as test subjects for an experimental drug, the drug gives them powers, and now they spend their spare time running around New Orleans bringing justice to drug dealers. This show could be amazing if done right, bringing 2 lesser known Marvel characters and turning them into something great. One of the best things about these two characters is their dynamic, they would do anything to protect each-other. I would love to see these two characters get their own show.
2. PUNISHER.
This character has gone through the mills, after 3 TERRIBLE films (and one amazing one shot), Marvel got the rights back to Punisher. I think they should at least consider giving him his own show. I don't think there is anyone out there who doesn't know Frank Castles origin, we've seen it already...but, what we haven't seen is Punisher done right, the closest we got was a one shot with Thomas Jane, but i think if Marvel were going to do anything with the character they would recast. Punisher is a character that can be viewed as a hero, and a villain, depending on viewpoint, he has often come into conflict with Marvel characters, only to then team up with them later.
3. NIGHTSTALKERS.
After 3 mediocre movies and a terrible TV show, the rights to Blade were finally given back to Marvel, with them rights, also came the opportunity for a bad-ass tv show. The Nightstalkers are a trio of vampire hunters, consisting of Blade, Hannibal King and Frank Drake, the show would follow these 3..well..vampire hunting. This show would open up a whole aspect to the Marvel universe previously unseen. If theres anything that the Twilight movies and True Blood proved, its that people LOVE vampires. This show has a lot of potential and honestly i would love to see Blade in all his glory.
4. GHOST RIDER.
Ghost Rider has already had 2 awful films fresh in the minds of cinema goers, the problem the films had IMO is that the characters weren't fleshed out enough. If given a Netflix show, the characters would be able to be given more depth. The budget would need to be pretty big, but if done right i would be completely worth it. The show would follow Johnny Blaze, a young man(hopefully not played by Nic Cage) who makes a deal with the devil, only to be tricked into becoming Ghost Rider, every night, if Blaze is around evil, his skin burns up and he gets transformed into a chain-weilding bad-ass. Marvel have 3 characters who have been transformed into Ghost Rider, so they could have the show follow any of them, but as i am only familiar with the one character; Johnny, i hope the show would focus around him.
5. MOON KNIGHT.
Moon Knight is often considered as "Marvel's Batman"; and yet, he has never shown up in any of the movies. Moon Knight has the potential to be an amazing show, they could have him show up in the Defenders show, or even crossover into the movies., a full season would be able to give the character more depth than a movie could, and to put it simply, a movie wouldn't be able to do this awesome character justice.
6. NOVA.
I would have this show be an origin story for Richard Rider, following him in his travels through space, and his crime-fighting back on earth, Avengers movies, the budget would have to be pretty big with this one, as Nova's origin involves a lot of space travel. It could be done though, and if done right Marvel could have one of the most exciting shows under its belt.
7. HEROES FOR HIRE.
I'd envision this to follow the company founded by Iron Fist and Luke Cage, I would have this show replace the Luke Cage and Iron Fist shows, taking the strong points from each and turning it into its own thing, I would have Misty Knight and Jessica Jones turn up every now and then, they could have crossovers with the Agents of Shield gang. This show has a lot of potential. All the money that Luke Cage and Iron Fist get could be justified as funding for the Defenders team, and it would lead perfectly into a Defenders season 2.
8. KA-ZAR.
Back when he was a child Kevin Plunder went on a trip to the newly discovered Savage Land (Tropical land hidden in Antarctica where pre-historic creatures still roam around freely), soon after, both his mother and father had died and he was adopted by Zabu; a tiger with human level intelligence. A Ka-Zar Netflix show would basically be able to introduce the Savage Land to fans of the MCU (The savage land has played a big part in many storylines over the years) Think of a show about Tarzan, only his name is Ka-Zar and he lives on an island with dinosaurs. A Ka-zar show has the potential to be amazing, it would need a pretty big budget though, as Ka-Zar sees all sorts of creatures during his daily routine, and he also has a tiger that is beside him almost 24/7. I think this show could be brilliant, all it needs is the right script and screenwriters.
9. SPIDER-MAN.
Spider-Man is without a doubt one of Marvels most popular characters. A show following Peter Parker would be able to give the character more depth than a movie ever could. By the end of January 2015 we will know what Marvel/Sonys plans are for this character but until then we can hope he gets his own series. Spider-Man has one of the most impressive rogues gallery in all of Marvel Comics, and I think that could be a strong aspect of the show. A Spiderman show would be able to juggle many villains over the course of a season, and then have them turn up again later on, or team-up. There have been many Spider-Man centric storylines over the years so the creators will have plenty of source material to choose from.(Identity Crisis, Superior Spider-Man or the introduction of Spider-man 2099 and Scarlet Spider are just a few storylines this show could cover)
After a few seasons, when the public is getting sick of Spider-man, Marvel could revamp the whole show, name it "Spectacular Spider-Man" and follow Miles Morales as Spiderman. The possibilities are endless.
10. SLINGERS.
One particular storyline in the comics had Peter Parker create 4 new personas because Spider-Man was considered a criminal. After it was revealed to the public that Spider-Man wasn't actually a criminal Peter Parker no longer had the need for these for Alter Ego's (Dusk, Ricochet, Hornet and Prodigy) and the 4 suits went missing, this storyline could be told in the Spider-Man show, and it would perfectly set up this show. The Slingers are the group of people who came into possession of these suits, and who fought crime wearing them. Each member does have a power, and this show can be an origin story for each of the 4 characters, and how they came into possession of each suit. The only problem Marvel might have with creating this show (not counting the fact that they might not even have the rights to Spider-Man yet) is that one of the 4 characters is a mutant, and Fox have the rights to them so it might not be possible, Marvel could always change the origins up a bit though, so it might not matter.
11. SINISTER 6.
Back when it was revealed that Sony was going to have a Sinister 6 movie, just about everyone on the internet let out a big moan, and rightly so...right? A Sinister 6 movie shouldn't really be allowed to exist, lets face it, its doomed to fail..but a Sinister 6 Netflix Show? Thats a whole different story, this has the potential to be so fricking bad-ass. You could have Doctor Octopus as a bad guy in the Spider-Man show, and then have him turn up here, sworn to get revenge on Spider-Man, but portrayed as the good guy. So he recruits 5 other villains that have shown up in the Spider-Man show, and wreaks havoc. From a narrative view, you could have the story be told so that the Sinister 6 are the protagonists, and that Spider-Man is the Antagonist, it would give a fun spin on the villains, focusing on their own inner morale dilemmas and situations. Sandman is simply looking to fund surgery for his daughter, Doc Ock is trying to get revenge on Spider-Man, who messed up his plans to make the world a "better" place, each of the 6 characters could be portrayed as doing "the right thing" in their minds, and then slowly realizing that what they are doing is wrong, and then you can watch their arc and by the end of the show, you could have them as proper bad guys.
What do you guys think, do you's have any suggestions for other Netflix shows?
