Amy Berg, a Los Angeles Based director and producer of such documentaries as "Deliver us from Evil" and "West of Memphis" has just finished her latest film "An Open Secret". "An Open Secret" a documentary film focusing on Hollywood explotation of young men for sex. The new film screemed at NY DOCS and was met with mixed emtional reactions from the crowd.
Although the film DOES NOT directly state that Singer molested children, but does heavily imply it and give his accuser, Michael Egan, a very "prominent role" in the movie. The film does not get into recent lawsuits filed by Egan, but does dig deeply into the claimes of young men at drug filled sex parties.
Berg went on to say “I’m not saying Bryan Singer is a child molester. But he certainly was surrounded by them and hung out with them.” She said that the other former defendants in the Egan-Singer case were known to be guilty.
Given Singers massive success with Xmen, X2 and Days of Future Past could this continued public display of dirty laundry cause FOX to re-think their attachment to Singer? Is it fair since no criminal conviction has happened(no charges either)? When will this go away and do some people "have it out" for Singer?
