We finally have some news on Superior, as 20th Century Fox has hired the writing team of Brandon and Phillip Murphy to bring Mark Millar and Leinil Yu's comic book to the big screen. Tarquin Pack and Matthew Vaughn are attached to produce the movie which focuses on a 12 year old boy with multiple sclerosis who is granted one wish by an alien monkey. He chooses to become his favourite comic book movie superhero Superior, but there's a massive twist along the way, and things play out much differently than expected. The seven issue series was published between 2010 and 2012, and is the latest in a long line of Millarworld adaptations (Wanted, Kick-Ass, and Kingsman: The Secret Service). Brandon and Phillip are also attached to Transferene and Exile on Main Street: A Season in Hell With the Rolling Stones. There's no release date as of yet for Superior.
