John Arturo - When did you start collecting and how did you get into the hobby?
Stephen Moran - Well I started collecting statues about three years ago when I went to new york with my girlfriend, I spotted a Superman statue and decided to get it.
I'll never forget my girlfriend saying to me that I was stupid to get it and asked where I would put it, little did she know she'd be giving me a whole room all to my statues.
John Arturo - What makes Superman interesting to you?
Stephen Moran - I have always loved Superman from as long as I can remember, I think I was about 5, it was Christmas morning and the 1st Superman movie came on the TV and since then I have been obsessed.
John Arturo - Do you collect anything else?
Stephen Moran - I only collect statues and comics.
John Arturo - What is your favorite collectibles company?
Stephen Moran - My favorite company would be Sideshow Collectibles but i much prefer customs and one of a kinds, i have more customs than official statues.
John Arturo - What is your favorite part of collecting?
Stephen Moran - My favorite part of collecting would be seeing how cool they look together, I just love going in there to play my PS3 and looking at them and they get a great reaction off friends and family when they drop by.
John Arturo - What is the key thing you look for in an item you want to add to your collection?
Stephen Moran - That's a hard one, maybe how well done the sculpt is and a great pose I suppose.
John Arturo - What is your favorite movie?
Stephen Moran - Superman 1 as it was the first superhero movie I saw and it started me getting into comics and CBM's.
John Arturo - What is your favorite piece from your collection?
Stephen Moran - My favorite piece would be either the 1/3 enraged Superman on sun base as its very rare, you see a pissed Superman in statue form or my half scale Superman just for sheer size(both customs).
John Arturo - What are some items you are most looking forward to adding to your collection?
Stephen Moran - I have a half scale Batman statue coming to me in the next few weeks to accompany my half scale Superman so I am real excited about getting that.
John Arturo - Finally, what is your favorite aspect of ComicBookMovie.com?
Stephen Moran - I love coming on to CBM to see the latest news on all CBMs and mostly the Man of Steel, can't wait for that.
