1st fight, didnt vote.

2nd fight, Wonder Woman takes it brains, brawn and magic vs brawn and magic. Jug seems to be a one trick pony as well. WW has all kinds of different armors and weapons.

3rd fight, Superman wins, he has to many different ways to attack.

Superman beat Kurse? I'm just going to assume that none of the folks on here know who Kurse is, either that or every one is DC biased. I'm leanin towards the former tho. Anyhoo, Stroke wins evry human level fight 'cept aginst Cap, which I'd call a draw. Jugg murder stomps Wonda Bread, look at their strength and durability if you want the reason. Supeman beats Herc, roughy da same strength while Kent has other powers. Toss up between Murdock and T'Challa in the Marvel Fighters.

Black Panther vs Deathstroke

Deathstroke should win every rematch he would know all of Panther moves.

Juggernaut vs Wonder Woman

This is a real toss up.While Wonder Woman is the better fighter Juggs has the strength advantage. It goes like this in a straight fight Juggernaut but if Diana uses his own momentum against him she could toss him into space.

Superman vs Hercules

This would be an epic battle but in the end Superman takes this with his speed and range attacks.

I picked Deathstroke , Juggernaut and Hercules. Deathstroke is not a hero and if he gets a chance he would go for the kill. I picked Juggernaut here because the only really thing that stops the Juggs is psoinic attacks. (depends on the writer ) anyways if she flings him into space he could survive cause he doesnt need to eat or breathe. I pick Hercules in this one, I just feel it might end in a draw but went with the underdog.

oh and I picked Deadpool for the battle royal. He would be the one left standing. He is to crazy to predict. He would heal up quick and depending where they fight would through people in harms way just to win.. the only 2that wouldn't try to save people is Taskmaster and Sabertooth.

ravennpilot, you overlooked one of Jugg's main abilities (just goes to show you ain't ever read a story with Juggernaut) it's actually brawn, magic, and brains vs brawn, magic and COMPLETE INVULNERABILITY!! Read up on both of the characters before you vote, kay bub ;)

I went with Slade for the first round, I'd say he's a better fighter and has had better enhancements.

I choose Juggernaut in round 2, while I disagree with JuggyPunch's insults. His reasoning is correct. Juggs is a bit stronger than her, and durability it's not even close. He outclasses by 50 full miles in that regard. I don't think it matters that she's a better fighter, so far only a really, REALLY REALLY mad Hulk has managed to put Juggs down. Someone at her strength level wouldn't be enough to put him down.

I go Superman in the last round, equal strength levels. Their blows would do the same amount of damage but Supes would land more blows.

DC sweep two times in a row. This is a [frick]ing good week.

ravenn pilot, relentless1. Read up on both characters, get a good knowledge of what BOTH of them are capable of. If you still think Prince wins, then give a reason or a way she can actually hurt Marko. If you've got a real reason, I'm all ears.

WW is easily one of the worst DC characters ever conceived. No decent/memorable storylines in its entire run, no decent supporting characters, ridiculous throwback golden age powers/gadgets (rope of truth, moronic invisible plane) etc etc etc

I sort of agree about Wonder Woman, I don't hate her. She's just rather dull, boring and the stories a bit childish. I actually sorta feel the same way about Thor, yeah he had some cool times when he was with the Avengers but overall his tales are rather boring. With the exception of a certain villain of his that I find go be quite interesting. (Loki)

It's not because they're "overpowered", because I love Superman and Hulk both of which are ridiculously overpowered. It's tough to write über powerful characters. But at least with Superman and Hulk they actually get you to where you feel for the character, and you care about who's behind the mask too. Like we actually care about what happens to Clark Kent in his life with Lois, and working at the Daily Planet and such, the writers do it well enough to make you feel for him. You actually care what happens to Bruce Banner and Clark Kent, I think that's the trick when dealing with overpowered characters. Fleshing out their human side to get the reader to feel for them, and make the story way more interesting. This is where I think both Marvel and DC have failed with Wonder Woman and Thor.

Like nobody cares what happens to Diana Prince, they only care abou Wonder Woman.
No one cares what happens to Don Blake, only Thor.

The reader IMO is actually somewhat intrigued by Clark Kent, as well as Superman.
The readers cares what happens to Bruce Banner.

IMO, that's the trick when dealing with overpowered characters. Because Wonder Woman as well as Thor to me, are dull and pretty much one note characters. That's just my opinion though.

In fact, the only reason I read Thor for long periods of time was for Loki. That and his battles against Hulk, those were always fun.

The only to successful brands to come out the 40's were Superman and Batman.Everything else was lackluster and/or needed rebooting in the 60's.

The reason I choose WW is because Jug is never presented as smart. Most of my experience with him has been from the cartoons so whatever that means, but WW has enough brains, power, and speed to out class him. That and access to magical weapons seals it for me.

Also, Wonder Woman is a boss character. A warrior goddess, who isn't afraid to throw down against Superman or Aries. One of my favorite comic book characters.

I enjoy WW, Superman and the rest of the crew because I enjoy watching DC classic "god like" characters try and fit into some sort of modern day mold. Captain American and Superman both fill that shoe well. Superman is stuck in the past in alot of ways and Cap. doesn't know any other way to be.

Its when they get angsty that I lose interest. The new Justice League is lame, it seems like a teen drama.

GuardianDevil - 4/20/2013, 8:44 AM
I agree about Cap and Supes for one thing, love e'm both.

I just dont find Wonder Woman or Thor to be that interesting, Superman is interesting because he has to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders (sometimes literally) and he hears every cry and knows he can't save everyone but he does his best to protect the world he has come to know as his home. With Hulk its a very good story, it's an interesting dynamic between Hulk and Banner. Both of then have deep personalities, and it's about doing what's right even though the world is against you. About finding your place in the world.

Wonder Woman and Thor, eh. Stories about gods kicking butt and looking cool. No interesting character development, memorable story lines or any of that. No deep character, just gods being gods. Gets boring after the first five or six issues, IMO they're both pretty much one note characters. It's not because they're overpowered, it's because to me they're just really boring which is the opposite of many other overpowered characters.

I thought Perez's run with WW was excellent, as most of his work. Maybe his best writing.

She would still get smeared in a fight vs Juggy, as most characters would. His losses in the books are stupid and mainly because he's a bad guy. Dude is POWERFUL and pretty much invulnerable when at full power.

I question the Hulks true ability to defeat him.

DEATHSTROKE vs BLACK PANTHER: Black Panther.

There's no evidence to suggest that Deathstroke is physically superior to Black Panther. If anything, they're equaled at the most. Black Panther's weaponry and gadgets renders EVERYTHING Deathstroke has useless. Black Panther is IMO a better fighter, has more experience, and even though Deathstroke has a higher brain function, he has had trouble with opponents who are better fighters than himself (aka Bronze Tiger, Batman, and Cassandra Cain to name a few).

Again, Im not going to research every fight on these polls just not going to do it. When I have barely seen a character or they are completely new hen I wont vote. If I decide to, I will go to check out a source somewhere.

Besides if Im wrong then the comic book geeks united will vote correctly in the polls. That is why its open to everyone.

No reason to get your panties in a twist.

SageMode, I agree with your assessment voting for

Black Panther

Jug's (not WW'S)

& Supes, but Herc's enough of a dick to cause him to sloppy enough to lose the initial bout (like he's done before) but that would be only a one time thing.
SpideyQuad
SpideyQuad - 4/20/2013, 12:43 PM
Ravonpilot, I believe the correct terminalogy today would be "thong" in a twist. Something I understand to be more easily done then with the older more solidly built panties.

The "law of averages" do tend to straighten out the more bias votes because there is less of those.

"Urgh" bad image associated with LL's Avatar...

ravenn pilot, so you admit that you don know jack about Marko. And that ya voted for Diana anyhow. So you're admitting to an uninformed opinion and bias right? I've had extensive reading with both of em, just don't see any way for her to even harm him.

@Fenix122

Yeah, the WW/Thor comparison pretty much works though Thor doesn't seem to be quite so serious to me.

@SpideyQuad

Forgot about the WW Perez run. Perez makes virtually everything better (especially a fan of his often forgotten FF run) but still this is the best WW ever got.

Ok listen. I only know a little about Jug Head from the cartoons and the occasional comic that I have picked up. I haven't read decades worth of comics on him because what I saw in the character was a big dumb brawler type character. I felt that was enough info to vote on the fight. Im not biased towards Wonder Woman I just enjoy her as a character more.

I just went through a wiki comics thing on Jug Head, he can destroy montains, survive living in concrete and other feats. He has been stropped physically by Hulk and Skaar. Thor did it with blows from his Hammer. He still seems as dumb as a rock.

Now if anyone thinks that the people voting in these polls must have decades worth of reading comics then what ever. Nothing I say or do will get you to see understand me.

Fenix122 has gone out of his way to match up fighters that aren't complete one sided matches. Just by him lining these two up, for me, means that it could be a close fight. And if its close then its my opinion against yours and really its an internet opinion.

Lets calm down.
