Starting in June with a Point One issue, followed by a proper #1 in July — will feature a new character wielding the mantle of the Spirit of Vengeance, and this time it's a female, as revealed during Marvel's "Next Big Thing" conference call with the press Thursday.

Blaze will work with the new Ghost Rider, who is a character completely new to the Marvel Universe with no prior connection to Johnny Blaze.








What are your thoughts on a female Ghost Rider?

What are you guys talking about? Ghost Rider isn't just a skeleton, he has always had shape to him formed by the flames, how do you think he appears to have muscles?
So if normal Ghost rider can have pecks, then logically female Ghost Rider can have boobs.


Looks like more than just a skeleton to me.

No. It doesn't work. Maybe a female water demon as his enemy or even a female wind demon. This just doesn't work. A woman character should have beauty to behold, not a sexy skull face.(why does doing something dirty with the word skull come to mind?)

All of you who are questioning female skeletons with boobs seem to have forgotten Lady Death. Death itself? She's been pulling that look off for years. I don't quite understand the non-cindered hair here though. Couldn't they have just manipulated the fire so that it gave the suggestion of hair?

Anyway my first thought was Buffy got her face ripped off and skull lit on fire. No matter, I'm sure Death will jump at the chance to finally share some of her beauty tips with someone who understands her.

Don't really like that they have to show her cleavage like that. I thought a Ghost Rider's body was all skeleton. It's just get male geeks to buy it. I will 'cause I like Ghost Rider, and have been waiting for a female Ghost Rider for a while.

This seems really safe. They didn't want to take the chance on a hairless female rider. That way they can say "look, she's a girl now. See the hair?" and since when do skeletons squint?

As I said before, Ghost Riders always have a shape to their body, they're not just skeletons.


Do you see his muscles? If he was just a skeleton would he have muscles? The flames form the body, just like in this female version with her breasts.
