Woody Harrelson's superhero drama/comedy nabs Best Feature Film Award at the Victorian Film Festival

At the University of Victoria Film Festival, which highlights Canadian produced features, Defendor grabbed the Best Feature Film Award. This homage to the superhero genre had a lot of positive buzz around the film festival circuit in 2009. Defendor seems like one of those films that seem to transcend the genre, and I hope it gets a DVD release soon. Defendor costars Kat Dennings (Thor), Sandra Oh, and is directed by Peter Stebbings. If you want my opinion, this movie not getting any nominations for the Oscars, or Golden Globes is a travesty.

By the way, how awesome of a year did Harrelson have in 2009? He's a true talent.

In very, very limited release. You basically had to know a guy who knows a guy to see anything of this movie.

Yes, maybe. In this case, the studios can't blame us. Is it me, or does it seem like the kind of films that used to get a wide release a few years ago now get buried in the desert for none to see? Damn Mainstream Hollywood...

Lee wat the hell is your problem? Did u fall on ur head ten times when u were born. Last time I ignored your comment. I am just stating my personal opinion. If you have a problem why don't u marry George Bush or his wife. Anyway next time u better not do this again. Wat u r doing right now makes me think you are crazy. Get a life and quit talking crap about people u can't see.
