We've got a lot of amazing movies coming out this year. Without further ado, these are my most anticipated.

5. The Wolverine

I’ll admit, I was a bit skeptical of this movie. But once the trailer came out, I was sold. This looks awesome. I’ll also admit that I liked X-Men Origins: Wolverine, as a movie. Not like as a CBM movie, because in that sense I thought it was a travesty. But in the sense of being an entertaining film, I liked it. I hope The Wolverine keeps the same kind of tone.

4. Thor: The Dark World

I was blown away by what I saw in the trailer. I thought it would probably keep that same campy tone that the first one had, but now I’m thinking otherwise. This could, and probably will be, the Dark Knight of the Thor franchise.

3. Kick-Ass 2

Kick-Ass is my second favorite CBM of all time (behind Dark Knight), and the second one looks to be shaping up quite nicely. It also seems to be staying faithful to the comics.

2. Man of Steel

This movie looks amazing. Possibly even the best of 2013. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this will beat out all the Marvel movies this year.

1. Star Trek Into Darkness

I’m a die hard Trekkie, and Star Trek 2009 was [frick]ing amazing. Sure, I’m not too pleased with how the Klingons look, considering they look like Cardassians. But I digress. I saw the first 9 minutes, when I saw The Hobbit in IMAX, and it was amazing. Even if Cumberbatch is Khan, I’m sure he’ll be damn good in the role.

What are your most anticipated movies of the year? Leave a comment below, mofos. But try to be respectful.
