In a wide-ranging audio interview with Columbus that's been posted over at Earth's Mightiest, he discusses his love for comic books, how he was involved with that trio of Marvel titles, memories of his earliest efforts, Gremlins, Goonies and Young Sherlock Holmes; the making of Percy Jackson, his involvement, witn the late Stan Winston, in the remaking of Planet of the Apes; and the legacy of the Harry Potter film series.

do i thank him for how they f***** up daredevil(to many things to list.),fantastic four(mainly dr doom & galactus) & spider-man (the green goblin costume,kirsten dunst is not right for mary jane should of been mary elizabeth winstead.)spider-man 3(gwen stacey & the crane scene were very good,the special effects were good,the creation of venom was good.what hated was the sandman killing uncle ben plotline,the rape of venom the last half an hour is a insult & peters musical number.)
as for spider-man 2 one of the best comic book films ever made.

Yeah, you've got to remember though Nolan and Favreau have helped alot of these guys see the light. So it doesn't mean that they can't end up making decent, or even great contributions to the genre in the future. DD was so early on, it was just an experiment.
