Leave something for the imagination!

ComicBookMovie.com has become a world-renowned source for info about everyone's favorite films, but is our effectiveness at getting the word out royally screwing us out of the sheer enjoyment that we gleen from these movies??

I propose a method in which we can better hide these massive spoilers from the casual user. The current system exposes too much, too quicly. As a fan and contributor of CBM, I think we ought to have a method whereby we have to go through a few more steps to "peal the layer from the onion"

As it is, the titles of articles and thumbnail pics that are readily viewable - are as enticing as a badly wrapped Christmas present to a drooling toddler!

What are some ways we could better keep stuff under wraps UNLESS we really, really want to have every iota of TDKR or some other franchise revealed to us before it's "supposed to be" revealed in glorious post production for the masses.

There's got to be an alternative to not coming to this site, because it's such a treasure trove of info (+ pretty cool community)

Ideas???

Spoilers are put into headlines all the time.
I thank the people who put Spoiler Alert in but I've had so much of DKR spoiled from article headlines and pictures alone that I've been avoiding the site.

yeah it's a site called comicbookmovie.com if you don't expect spoilers, then you're retarded. Agree with nailbiter & xenix site is awesome...except for maybe all the Marvel trolls.

If we didn't have filming updates and comic updates and teasers and such this site would have nothing but the editorial and the fan section.

Uhm, Didn't you read the poll concerningvthe spoilers on this site?
Most people love spoilers.
If you don't want to be spoiled, don't click on the article!
simple as that

When a headline is a spoiler itself, it takes away the option. A "Spoiler Alert" tag helps.
But I glanced at the news feed and found out I'm gonna be seeing the batwing.

The site should just add a Spoiler Tab to go along with What's New, News, Scoops, etc.

I don't think the spoilers are the issue. I think it's that the title is the spoiler--even if it has spoiler in the title. I won't click on an article with spoiler alert in the title; but as ZeroEthic has mentioned, I found out there was a new batwing, and what it looked like, from simply coming to the site. I understand that many members here LOVE the spoilers which is perfectly fine; they are entitled to that information. To me, for the ones who come here just for CBM news, it's a little disheartening when you know a lot, and I mean A LOT, of information on a movie that is one year away.

Don't take this as complaining, just try to empathize with the people who are only seeking news. I think they are entitled to not have the movie ruined for them if they are simply browsing the site to get updated on casting information, or officially released trailers, etc.

I see a huge difference in a set video of Steve Rogers running in his fake bare feet and Bane's speech at Heinz Field, or this Batwing scene. I haven't watched either, but I know they exist because of a headline.

I know there are those of you who are selfish, don't care about others, and will start cursing at me and begin telling me I shouldn't come here blah blah blah. To me, that's just being an asshole, and I pity your life.

Now, I feel that the majority of you, editors included, understand that some people are turned off of this site for the simple reason that titles, and not the body of the article, are spoiling movies for people who just want simple news. I know there are some that really enjoy the spoilers, and I don't have an issue with that--You guys are brave in my mind. I just hope we can find a way to minimize that actual spoiler being in the title. If you all give me the finger and tell me to eff o, then that's what I'll have to do.

EDIT: ....Rogers running in his fake bare feet as opposed to banes's speech... because it does not expose the plot or give anything away.
