The last installment of the Hunger Games has finally arrived, but how was it?

We reach our not so epic conclusion to the Hunger Games with Mockingjay Part 2. Admittedly I don't think the movie is awful, but it does unfortunately suffer from what most part 1 and 2 movies do. Lots of unecessary filler, but enough thrills to keep you entertained. Hit the video for a full spoiler free review!

Personally, I think the series as a whole is very solid, and has been the closest thing to fill the void left by Harry Potter, where other young adult novel adaptations have failed. (Percy Jackson, Divergent)

I'd have to rank them,

Catching Fire
Mockingjay Part 1
Hunger Games
Mockingjay part 2

Not to say I think Part 2 is bad, I loved them all because Im a fan, thats just the order. Hunger Games story wise I loved, but it gets knocked down for me because of the sloppy effects (not their fault they had a smaller budget than the others), over the top shaky cam, and I wish they would have spent more time in the arena. The meotional bits in the first one with Katniss volunteering for Prim, and Rues death were phenomenal though.

I can see someone making a "supercut" of Mockingjay and cutting things out from both to put them together in a 3.5-4 hour epic.
