Kryptodies! creator Ashleigh sits down with NEW-GEN creators and gets information on the NEW-GEN franchise, upcoming comics, and exclusive movie information.

Ashleigh from the site Kryptodies! interviewed the creators of the NEW-GEN comic series J.D. Matonti and Julia Coppola. Other then the occasional pause by the interviewer, she was able to get some interesting information about how the NEW-GEN Universe got started, where its going, and some interesting tidbits about the upcoming NEW-GEN live action feature film. Here is a list of the information learned.


- NEW-GEN gave away 14,000 comics at NY Comic Con 2010.
- The movie will focus on the Twins being thrust to the forefront of the Nanotech war.
- The NEW-GEN Universe started as sketches in 2003.
- The NEW-GEN franchise story bible was co-created by Jeff Gomez, who created the story bible for Avatar and Tron.
- During the development of NEW-GEN they worked with a Nanotechnology scientist to get correct information on nanotechnology.
- They hope to tell the story of NEW-GEN on various media platforms.
- NEW-GEN: New Dawn prequel story about Gabriel will be released sometime this year.
- First NEW-GEN live action feature film with be seen through the twins eyes and just touches on the fringe of the NEW-GEN Universe.
- The film will show a not so apocalyptic view of a futuristic world.
- When they cast the movie, they will do a search for new teen twin actors; no "Lindsay Lohan" trick photography.

Some interesting information, especially the bit about cast new teen twin actors, very intriguing. Lets hope more information comes out soon about the NEW-GEN Universe.
